HomeScope uses a
dynamic voice menu system in conjunction with predictive algorithms
to achieve an unusually high level of successful recognition. |
In "plain
speak", this means that HomeScope analyzes your past requests
to look for patterns and uses this analysis to "guess"
what you are likely to ask next. The system can also be
"tuned" to replace any words that are difficult to speak
with other words or phrases that are easily remembered and more
easily recognized by the system. |
So, instead of trying
to recognize dictation using an entire dictionary, HomeScope limits
its recognition to a dynamically selected set of words or
phrases. As soon as it recognizes one word, it updates the
selection to be immediately prepared for following words. |
The result is very high
recognition accuracy with a relatively short period of training. |
Moreover, HomeScope
tracks unsuccessful recognition attempts and will offer suggestions
if it detects repeated recognition failures. |
All of this can be
achieved using HomeScope's wireless headset, which is very light and
easy to wear. It also has a range of up to 300 feet, providing
complete freedom to roam around a wide area while still having
complete control over the system. |
