The blue bar shown to the right of the screen is the Control Bar. The green bar at the bottom of the screen is the Task Bar. The remainder of the screen is the Task Pane.  Touching the Task Pane will switch to Full Screen Mode (Control Bar and Task Bar hidden) and back.

Buttons on the Control Bar are:

Help

Open this Help page

EXIT

Terminate the HomeScope application

Close

Close the currently open Task

Edit

Return to the Edit Mode

Icons on the Task Bar are:

Lights

Opens the Lights Control Task

Rebuild

Opens the Links Rebuild Task

When the system has been inactive for a while, it will look for a \Pictures subfolder in the Application Folder and, if found, a Photo Display Mode will automatically be invoked to display all photos found in that \Pictures subfolder, along with any photos in any other folder if a shortcut to that other folder is placed in the \Pictures subfolder (even if the other folder is on another computer).

The Photo Display Mode will be invoked after 1 minute with no user activity when no Task is currently open.  If the Lights Control Task is open and there is no user activity for 30 minutes, the Task will close and the Photo Display Mode will be invoked.

Photos can be in .JPG, .BMP, .GIF or .PNG format.  When the Photo Display Mode is first invoked, a Photo Control Bar will appear to the left of the screen, allowing the user to set such parameters as refresh rate, display format and display order.

Close the Lights Control Task

Lights icon on the Task Bar, or Close button on the Control bar, or open Links Rebuild Task.

L key or C key

Display Lights Control Task Full Screen

Same Zone twice within 2 seconds, or same Light twice within 2 seconds.

F key

Display  Control Bar and Task Bar on Lights Control screen

Same Zone twice within 2 seconds, or same Light twice within 2 seconds.

F key

Open the Links Rebuild Task

Rebuild icon on the Task Bar.

R key

Close the Links Rebuild Task

Rebuild icon on the Task Bar, or Close button on the Control bar, or open Lights Control Task.

R key or C Key

Display Links Rebuild Task Full Screen

(Links Rebuild Task is always displayed Full Screen)

Start Photo Display

Close open task, if any, then touch Task Pane.

C key to close open task, if any, then F key

Hide Photo Display Control Bar

 (Automatically hides after 30 seconds)

Show Photo Display Control Bar

Touch Photo

Speed up / Slow down Photo Display

Up or Down button on scroll bar.

Up or Down key

Reverse Photo Display order
