The
Wizard Editing Mode provides an easy way for the inexperienced user to set
up the HomeScope system to manage an Insteon network. The
capabilities of the Wizard Editors are limited to essential functions
only, but it is always possible to invoke the Expert Editing Mode to make
other changes. |

The
Wizard will take the user through Option Screens that allow the Zones
Wizard, the Devices Wizard and the Cross-Links Wizard to be sequentially
invoked. Any of the Wizards can be skipped, and the process repeated
to return to the skipped Wizard, if necessary. Individual Wizard
Editors are: |

Zones: |
Allows
Zones to be added, enabled or disabled. The Zones Wizard
also provides the option to temporarily invoke the Expert Zones Editor if changes to
other parameters are required. |

Devices: |
Allows
Devices to be automatically detected.
For Loadable devices that support dimming, the Local On Level and Local
Ramp Rate values can also be set.
The
Zones Wizard also provides the option to temporarily invoke the Expert Zones

Cross-Links: |
Allows
Cross-Links to be established from any Switching Device (Master) to any
Loadable Device (Slave) and, in each case where the Loadable Devices
supports dimming, values to be set for the On Level and Ramp Rate to be
applied when the Link is activated.
Links can also be set up as two-way Links,
allowing the current status of the Slave Device to be displayed at the
Master Device.
