Making
Phone Calls With HomeScope |
|
|
|
HomeScope allows the
user to make completely hands-free phone calls. It is even
possible to compose messages that can be read over the phone so that
it isn't even necessary to speak. |
|
|
All
functions can be performed by simple voice commands. Once the
call is in progress, HomeScope will monitor and record the
conversation, waiting for the line to be dropped or for prolonged
silence before once again responding to voice commands. This
ensures that words spoken during the conversation do not
unintentionally initiate other actions!
If HomeScope detects a prolonged period of silence before the line
has been dropped, it will emit a "ticking" sound for ten
seconds to indicate that the system is about to hang up the
call. If either party speaks during this time, the system will
stop the countdown and wait for another period of prolonged
silence. (All timings are easily adjusted by the user). |
