With
almost no additional wiring requirements, HomeScope can control
lights and appliances throughout the home, and can even control your
home heating and cooling system -- by
using the existing electrical wiring in the home -- so no costly rewiring is necessary.
Installation and
changes are simple -- the HomeScope system connects to one or more transmitters
which send control signals (on, off, dim, bright, etc.) to receivers which
plug (or wire) into other locations in the home.
Using simple dials or buttons each component is assigned one of up to 256 addresses. If
two components are required to go on and off together, they can be
set to the same address.
