President Obama wasted little time launching his green energy agenda, saying on January 26, 2009
that "no single issue is as fundamental to our future as energy."
"We'll save the average working family $350 on their energy bills by weatherizing 2.5 million homes.
" The energy bill is expected to pass rapidly through the houses of Congress,
and is expected to become law by summer 2009. It will include incentives for householders
and businesses to conserve energy.
