Controlling
Radio & TV with HomeScope |
|
|
| |
HomeScope allows the
user to control radio, TV and music systems throughout the home: |

 |
|
For
components that are equipped with a direct computer interface,
HomeScope can control them directly.
But most equipment must be controlled using the same infra-red
signals that are sent by using a remote control. To do this,
HomeScope generates the appropriate remote control signals to
control each device and transmits the signals to the device either
by direct wiring or by using RF transmitter/receivers that can be
used to distribute infra-red signals throughout the home. |

|
HomeScope
includes a very comprehensive IR code table that covers most
equipment currently available. However, for any unusual
components with codes that are not included in the table, HomeScope
provides a simple learning process which enables the remote used to
control the device to be also used to "teach" HomeScope
the required codes. |
